Ep 8: Privilege and Anti-Racism
On this podcast, we’re exploring identities, and one identity that deserves some reflection is privilege. Along with that, we can examine how to be anti-racist so we can take action and make a difference.
This week, I’m excited to be joined by a smart and passionate community activist, a fellow woman in tech, and my friend, Larissa Mogano.
Larissa will help us explore activism, how to unlearn racism, and how to be more conscious of ourselves and our community.

"Using your privilege positively is getting involved in something that doesn't affect you personally. Quite frankly, I think that’s an oversimplification because it does affect me personally that Black people aren’t treated equitably or fairly or justly in this country."

Is Larissa optimistic?
She’s optimistic when she’s with people with shared values, and when people do incredible things on their own. We’re all optimistic or we wouldn’t be doing this work.
